MIAMI March 22, 2017 – Mi9 Retail, a leading provider of omni-channel commerce solutions for large and mid-sized retailers, announced today that Little Tikes, a U.S.-based children’s toys manufacturer, has successfully gone live on the Mi9 Retail e-Commerce platform. The new e-commerce solution consolidates Little Tikes’ U.S., Canada, and Parts sites onto one platform, reducing costs of support and maintenance while providing greater flexibility and control to implement changes and web site updates.
Little Tikes, a subsidiary of MGA Entertainment, manufacturers and markets infant and preschool products, including development toys, creative arts, ride-on toys, sandboxes, activity gyms, climbers, and juvenile furniture. The company’s web sites support direct-to-consumer (DTC) product sales and service, and also function as a virtual showroom to support retailers who sell Little Tikes products in their stores.
Little Tikes was introduced to Mi9 e-Commerce when it began an evaluation of software providers to replace its existing web commerce platform. Little Tikes selected Mi9 e-Commerce based on several important factors including its robust merchandising capabilities, overall ease of administration, flexibility to quickly implement and track promotions, and its multi-tenant SaaS architecture that allows Little Tikes to run multiple web properties on a single platform.
“While many Little Tikes products are timeless, we need the flexibility to implement and update our digital marketing and merchandising programs quickly in response to current market dynamics,” said Janet Parham, Director of Direct to Consumer Operations at Little Tikes. “The Mi9 e-Commerce solution gives us the platform we need to take our online business to the next level, and the Mi9 team has provided exceptional support throughout the implementation process and has been a real partner to us.”
“We see increasing demand among retailers for e-commerce and omni-channel solutions that are scalable to their ongoing business needs, but also fast to deploy and cost-effective to maintain,” said Neil Moses, CEO of Mi9 Retail. “We look forward to seeing Little Tikes reap these benefits and more as they enhance their ecommerce strategies and programs.”
