James Zubok Mi9 Retail

James Zubok

Chairman of the Board

James has a successful track record of purchasing, integrating, growing, operating and selling companies and is a founding partner of Respida Capital. Prior to founding Respida Capital, James was an executive officer and operator of several enterprise software companies. Most recently, he served as Vice President of Business Development and Strategy at Perceptive Software, a subsidiary of Lexmark International. James had previously served as President of Brainware, Inc., which was acquired by Lexmark in 2012. Prior to joining Brainware, James held several executive-level positions at SER Solutions, Inc., including CFO, Senior VP and General Counsel, where he was instrumental in effectuating a MBO of the company, making add-on acquisitions, recapitalizing the company with one of the most successful and highly respected PE firms in the world, growing and improving the operations of each business unit and divesting all business units in a series of transactions prior to spinning off Brainware as a separate entity. Prior to joining SER, Mr. Zubok was a patent attorney in the New York offices of Fulbright and Jaworski, LLP (now Norton Rose Fulbright).

James earned a J.D. from St. John’s Law School and a B.M.E. (Mechanical Engineering) from Cooper Union.

Neil Moses Mi9 Retail

Neil Moses

Chief Executive Officer, Board Member

Neil has extensive experience in executive-level operational and corporate development positions. In addition to his executive leadership role at Mi9 Retail, Neil is also a founding partner of Respida Capital. Prior to joining Respida, Neil served as Vice President of Operations for Perceptive Software, a subsidiary of Lexmark International, as part of Lexmark’s acquisition of Brainware, Inc. in 2012. Neil had previously served as Chief Operating Officer of Brainware, where he led the company’s global system delivery organization, as well as the customer support, marketing, product and business development functions within the company. Before joining Brainware, Neil worked with a number of startups, including as President and co-founder of Rogomo, Inc., where he launched several expert services marketplaces, including Prior to Rogomo, Neil held a number of senior-level positions at AOL, which included leading the New Revenue organization and multiple corporate development and strategy teams. Earlier in his career, Neil was also a corporate attorney at the law firm Fulbright & Jaworski, LLP (now Norton Rose Fulbright).

Neil earned a J.D. from the New York University School of Law and a B.A. in Political Science from Emory University.

Jason Williams Mi9 Retail

Jason Williams

President and Chief Financial Officer, Board Member

Jason has over 15 years of financial management and business process improvement experience. In addition to his executive officer role at Mi9 Retail, Jason is also a founding partner of Respida Capital. Prior to joining Respida, Jason served as a Financial Controller for Perceptive Software, a subsidiary of Lexmark International, as part of Lexmark’s acquisition of Brainware, Inc. in 2012. Jason had previously served as a Director of Strategic Projects at Brainware, where he led multiple successful projects to grow revenue and increase profitability. Prior to joining Brainware, Jason held various finance roles with MCI Telecommunications, Hogan & Hartson, Wyeth Pharmaceuticals and Design & Production.

Jason received his MBA from the University of Virginia’s Darden Graduate School of Business and a B.S. in Business Management and International Relations from Brigham Young University.

Eugene Voronov Mi9 Retail

Eugene Voronov

Senior Vice President, Research & Development

Eugene oversees the technology and solution architecture strategies for the Mi9 Retail suite of products and is responsible for leadership of the software development organization. His knowledge and experience are the result of 20 years of progressive growth in the software field as a developer, consultant, architect, executive, and entrepreneur. Eugene holds an Honours Bachelor, Computer Science degree from York University.

Bob Barbour - Mi9 Retail

Bob Barbour

Senior Vice President, Global Sales

Bob has held key leadership roles responsible for building commercial strategy, sales operations, organizational alignment, and go-to-market plans for multiple business units across global markets. An innovative mindset, strong team building skills, and a passionate focus on customers has made Bob successful in rapidly growing or transforming information technology businesses. Bob’s teams have served customers with IT tools, enterprise software applications, cloud-based solutions, and professional services.

Bob is the recipient of dozens of significant business awards, including multiple leadership honors. He attended Elon University, and earned his business degree from East Carolina University.

Lori Dermer Mi9 Retail

Lori Dermer

Senior Vice President

With 20+ years of senior management experience and providing exceptional customer service, Lori has spent the majority of her career in retail systems. At Mi9 Retail, she is responsible for developing strategic sales plans to promote sales growth and customer satisfaction for the organization. Whether it is for a sales team to close business, a customer to turn around a tricky situation, or an employee to grow into his or her professional best, Lori moves obstacles to provide a path to success. An active member within her community, Lori sits on various not-for-profit boards, has been a guest speaker at sessions on women in business and is a recurring guest on a radio talk show discussing current events.

Lori holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from McGill University in Montreal.

Charles Kaplan Mi9 Retail

Senior Vice President, Marketing

Charles has more than 20 years of marketing, product management and business development experience. He has held executive leadership roles in both high-growth and established enterprise software companies such as MicroStrategy, Lexmark, and Brainware. Charles received a MBA from the University of Virginia’s Darden Graduate School of Business and a B.A. from Vanderbilt University.

Diane Neaven Mi9 Retail

Diane Neaven

Senior Vice President, Products

Diane is an industry veteran having spent her career in retail and retail systems. Her tenure at Aptos (including its predecessor companies STS, NSB and Epicor) spanned professional services, product management, product marketing and sales. She brings her extensive domain and market expertise to Mi9 Retail as well as a true passion for retail.

JF Codron Mi9 Retail

Jean-François Codron

Vice President, Europe

Having held numerous positions in sales, marketing, services, R&D and manufacturing, Jean-François’ extensive professional experience also includes the creation and management of company subsidiaries in multiple countries across Europe.

Prior to joining Mi9 Retail, Jean-François was the vice president of Raymark’s European subsidiary based in Paris. He also held the position of VP of European Operations at Percon Inc., a US–based developer and manufacturer of barcode reading products. Jean-François holds a degree in Electronics and a Masters degree in Mathematics.

Jun Lu Mi9 Retail

Jun Lu

Vice President, Asia

Prior to joining Mi9 Retail, Jun worked for Raymark where he developed the company’s operations in Asia and oversaw sales, marketing, technical support, professional services, research and development, quality assurance, and hotline functions in Raymark’s Shanghai office.

Jun earned his M.Sc. in Computer Science at McGill University in Montreal, Canada.

Jeff Bukala Mi9 Retail

Jeff Bukala

Vice President, Services

At Mi9 Retail, Jeff is responsible for global deployment and leadership of solutions for the organization to our customer base. Prior to joining Mi9 Retail, Jeff has led services divisions at Lexmark, Brainware, Everest Software and McDonald Bradley (now part of Mantech International) and had experience with both Global 2000 customers and SMB markets for various types of solutions. His knowledge and experience are the result of over 20 years of progressive growth in the software and services industry as a business process consultant, project/program manager, solution architect, director of product management, and director of services for various vertical markets and product solutions that include content management, data capture, eCommerce, ERP, and retail software.

Jeff holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Akron.

Scott Pearson Mi9 Retail

Scott Pearson

Executive Director, Product Strategy

With more than 25 years of experience in retail and software development, Scott began his tenure with Retaligent as the vice president of consulting services and became COO of the company in 2008. Following Raymark’s acquisition of Retaligent, Scott assumed the position of CEO.

At Mi9 Retail, Scott is responsible for the strategic direction and product roadmap for customer-centric and mobile solutions. He holds a B.S. in Management and Administration from Indiana University and an M.S. in Management of Technology and Innovation in Retail from NYU Polytechnic University.

Clint Rodricks Mi9 Retail

Prior to joining Mi9 Retail, Clint was the Support Manager at OmniComm Systems Inc. where he managed a global team responsible for providing support of quality technology services, enabling optimal business results and delivering customer satisfaction. With more than 9 years of experience in the IT industry, Clint has held various and diversified corporate and leadership positions within support, development, and integration & deployment departments. At Mi9 Retail, he has led the charge in creating standard operating procedures and work instructions, which supports growth and strategic revenue goals.
